Hey everyone, we’ve cleaned up and re-organized ARTIS a little bit.  Trying to squeeze more information into the monitor space. Sorry 1024×768 people, I delayed as long as I could, but you’re now less than %12 of the hits to ARTIS.  Also since Firefox is overwhelmingly the most used browser (stats), we’ve optimized for that.

The SolarIMG team is dedicated to providing tools and accessible educational outreach through social media and other forms in conjunction with other programs and organizations and individuals and we’re committed to teaching kids and adults alike how space weather can affect our world and environment as well as make it fun and exciting for the wee ones to get thinking and dreaming and consider careers in Science, Technology, Education and Math (STEM).

SpaceWeather is of special interest to professionals in many fields. Spaceweather affects our bodies and brains, our DNA and the definition of “us” to the very core. It also affects every other creature on the planet, our weather & climate, it shakes the Earth, affects our technology, affects crop yields, the oceans: everything.

Life as we know it would not exist without the Sun.
